Ross Swan

I lead the Regulatory Solutions team within BDO's Consulting, Risk and Outsourcing practice in the UK. With 20 years of experience, I specialise in resource augmentation and managed regulatory programmes, transforming the operational performance of financial services businesses.

My focus is on helping them react, build resilience, and achieve improvements during times of crisis and regulatory scrutiny. My team and I have successfully delivered some of the largest complaints, remediation, and outcome testing programmes for a range of clients, including banks, building societies, consumer credit firms, payments firms, insurance firms, pension and investment firms, and regulatory bodies.

Before joining BDO UK, I worked with Regulatory Finance Solutions, KPMG, and RSA Insurance Group, where I led operational transformation and global shared services and outsourcing initiatives.

Outside of work, I am married with three sons and a dog. I enjoy running, swimming, and volunteering in the local community. I've completed several marathons and previously served as the chair of governors for a local primary school. These activities allow me to give back, build resilience, and work at both strategic and operational levels.
