Rupak Vasishta

I have worked in professional services firms since 2007, starting my career at PwC and then joining BDO in 2014.

I lead the Independence Team within the Ethics Function in our Quality & Risk Management Department, providing leadership and technical support to our people on matters concerning auditor independence, conflicts of interest, and risk management.

I have extensive experience in the application of UK, US, and Global Ethical Standards, and am a member of the BDO Global Ethics & Independence Steering Committee. I was also a member of the firm’s Sustainability & ESG Board for a number of years, contributing to our strategy and approach in this area.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, exploring the world, and have an interest in watching Formula 1 and going to see live music.
