Sarah Ziegler

I lead our Financial Sponsor Coverage team, specialising in developing, institutionalising and maintaining long-term commercial relationships with private equity firms and other financial sponsors across the UK, Europe and the US.

My role involves forging robust professional connections with financial sponsors, gaining a deep understanding of their investment criteria and addressing the unique challenges and aspirations of their portfolio companies. My extensive experience across deals in various geographies and sectors gives me a thorough knowledge of the M&A landscape, enabling me to generate tailored proprietary investment ideas and insights.

I began my career at the firm, qualifying as an accountant, and have been here for over 20 years. During that time, I've worked within our advisory streams in both the UK and the US. I also serve on our Private Equity Leadership Team, Scale-Up Committee and lead our Private Equity ESG Committee.
