Scott Knight

Scott leads the firm’s A&A practice nationally which comprises over 2,000 professionals and accounts for approximately one third of the firm’s revenues. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team, Operations Board and Risk and Quality Committee.

Scott is an experienced audit partner working with FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and AIM clients. He is a Member of the FRC’s Audit and Assurance Council which advises the FRC Board on related matters.

Scott is a specialist in governance matters and in addition to writing regularly on the subject he is a member of the judging panel on the Non-Executive Director Awards and a board member of the Quoted Companies Alliance.

Scott has a specific interest in the way that data tools are transforming the audit industry and is the Global Sponsor of BDO Advantage, our suite of data analytics tools, used by BDO offices globally, which includes sector specific tools, data process mining and benchmarking analysis.
