Simon Jones

Simon is the Head of our UK Valuation Team and is supported by a team of valuation professionals.

Simon specialise in the valuation of private and public companies, and of intangible assets and intellectual property. He has an intimate knowledge of fair value requirements under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP accumulated over more than 20 years in the profession. He also has a wealth of experience helping clients with valuations for corporate finance and restructuring purposes.

Simon’s industry expertise ranges from consumer markets and aerospace & defence, to financial services and oil & gas.

Simon has helped influence the future direction of the UK valuation profession through his past position as a committee member on the ICAEWs valuation special interest group. He has lectured and written on a variety of specialist valuation topics.

Simon’s professional career began in 1994. He spent 10 years in the corporate world, before moving into professional services in 2005. Simon holds an MBA and is a CFA charterholder.
