Steve Bladen

I work in the Public Sector Assurance team based in London, delivering audit and assurance services to entities across local government and the NHS. With more than 20 years' experience in the sector, I've built a deep understanding of the issues, challenges and opportunities public sector organisations face.

I'm licensed as a key audit partner by the ICAEW, making me one of a small number of people nationally able to sign external audit opinions on public sector financial statements. I also have extensive experience of value for money audit, responding to local electors' questions and objections and grant certification work, including the Housing Benefit Assurance Process.

I am the Audit Quality Lead for the Public Sector Assurance team, representing our team on the Audit Quality Council.
