Steve

Steve leads the Global Employer Services (GES) team for Yorkshire and the North East. He is also the Head of Manufacturing for the region.

Steve joined BDO in 2011, after 10 years' experience in the Big Four. He specialises in all areas of employment tax, including Optional Remuneration (OpRA), employment status, the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), expenses and benefits, Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) reports, National Minimum Wage (NMW), dealing with HMRC and management incentive schemes including EMI, CSOP, SAYE and unapproved share schemes.

Steve is often a speaker on technical employment tax matters for internal and external seminars and has also had a number of articles published.

His approach is proactive, commercial and pragmatic and he is committed to meeting his clients' needs. Steve is innovative and solutions-driven, whilst also managing commercial risks.
