Vicky Smith

I'm a Partner based in our Baker Street office where I lead on Audit Stream Risk matters and Audit Reporting within the Audit Quality Directorate.

I started my career in audit, specialising in owner-managed business audits, before moving to work within the Professional Standards Department at a regulator. I spent over 16 years with the regulator, holding a number of roles in both conduct and inspection departments and gaining a wealth of knowledge around regulatory and disciplinary matters.

I joined in 2020, initially within our in-flight review team before moving to our central quality and risk management team and then to my current role in January 2024. I regularly present to the audit stream on regulatory and risk matters.
