BDO provided financial and tax due diligence services in connection with the acquisition of arbnco Ltd by IMServ Europe Limited, an energy data specialist backed by Bluewater (the trading name of Blue Water Energy LLP).
arbnco is a proptech business providing smart building software that combines building characteristics, actual energy consumption and external data to help customers understand and improve building performance. Its technology enables organisations to benchmark energy performance across property portfolios, identify energy inefficiencies and model retrofit scenarios to support decarbonisation and investment decisions.
The acquisition brings arbnco’s building analytics capabilities together with IMServ’s metering and energy data services, creating an integrated end-to-end energy intelligence offering. The combined proposition will enable customers to move from trusted energy data through to actionable insight, helping them optimise energy use, prioritise investment and identify operational, financial and carbon savings while supporting EPC requirements and progress towards net zero.
