Acquisition of ASK4 Limited by Darwin private Equity

Sheffield-based telecommunications provider ASK4 has been acquired by Darwin Private Equity in a £21.5m deal. BDO Transaction Services provided due diligence support to Darwin.     

ASK4 delivers Wi-Fi and broadband services to student accommodation buildings, private residential developments and serviced offices from its headquarters in Sheffield where it employs more than 100 staff. It also operates a data centre in the city.     

The business, which recorded revenues of £10.2m in 2013, now provides its services to over 100,000 users across the UK.
