BDO has provided financial and taxation due diligence and SPA review services on the acquisition of Hawco & Sons Limited ("Hawco")by John Clark (Holdings) Limited ("John Clark Motor Group").
The acquisition of Hawco sees John Clark Motor Group add Volkswagen franchises in Inverness, Elgin & Peterhead plus Audi, Skoda & VW Commercials franchises in Inverness to its existing portfolio of vehicle sales franchises, as well as Skoda Authorised Repairer status in Peterhead and Accident Repair Centre operations in Inverness. The acquistion adds over £100m to John Clark Motor Group's annual revenue of c.£1.2bn, plus 200 colleagues to the John Clark Motor Group's existing workforce of c.1,600.
