Acquisition of InvestmentNews by Bonhill Group plc and related placing

BDO advised on the acquisition by Bonhill Group plc (formerly Vitesse Media) of the trade and assets of InvestmentNews, a market leading business information and data & insight brand supporting the US financial adviser and wealth manager community. We undertook financial due diligence on the target business and acted as reporting accountant on the readmission of the enlarged group to AIM.

Bonhill Group is a B2B media business specialising in business information, live events and data & insight. As well as complementing its existing proposition, the transaction will be a transformational acquisition for the group, enabling it to access the US market. 

Consideration for the acquisition amounted to an enterprise value of $27.1m.
