Amdaris, a Bristol-based software development and digital services specialist, has been acquired by Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator Insight Enterprises. The acquisition of the fast-growing business sees Insight add Amdaris' software development, managed services and consultancy offering to its portfolio of digital transformation solutions.
The acquisition enhances Insight’s technical capabilities and adds a workforce of 800 to its existing headcount of over 13,000 staff. It further strengthens Insight’s position as a leading Solutions Integrator, delivering a broader range of services and solutions to clients. Amdaris’ clients will gain access to Insight’s expertise in cloud, data, AI and cybersecurity as well as Insight’s expansive IT supply chain based on longstanding relationships with more than 6,000 technology partners globally.
BDO worked closely with Insight, providing financial and tax vendor due diligence top-up services and in particular support around the locked box completion mechanics.
