CameraMatics, the Irish-founded AI-powered video telematics and fleet intelligence platform, has rasied a significant growth investment from a consortium led by Blume Equity, alongside the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and Goodbody Capital Partners (on behalf of AIB).

CameraMatics’ mission is to reduce driving and work-related accidents to zero by transforming driver behaviour, improving fleet visibility and raising driving standards globally through advanced AI-powered technology. The product combines AI-driven video intelligence, advanced driver assistance systems and real-time operational analytics.

The company continues to invest heavily in innovation, machine learning, predictive safety technologies and connected fleet intelligence solutions designed to reshape commercial driving standards worldwide.

The up to €49m investment will support the next phase of CameraMatics’ international expansion and continued product innovation as the company scales its AI-powered fleet safety and operations platform across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the United States.

"CameraMatics is an exciting business with a highly impressive growth trajectory and a product that leverages AI and other cutting-edge technologies. Fantastic to see this in a business with a mission statement so focussed on both safety and our climate. For BDO this was also a great example of our ability to work-cross border and combine sector and local expertise."
