Placing and offer for subsubscription by Supermarket Income REIT plc

Supermarket Income REIT invests in supermarket property with long, RPI-linked leases with the aim of providing investors with a long-term and secure income stream.

It has established a £200m placing programme and raised £100 million in an oversubscribed placing and offer for subscription, with the proceeds expected to be used to invest in additional freehold and long leasehold operational properties let to UK supermarket operators.
