Pollen Street has acquired a majority stake in Leonard Curtis in a transaction that provides an exit for current investors, Arete and Svella.
Leonard Curtis is a Manchester headquartered professional services provider specialising in insolvency, restructuring, legal, funding and M&A advisory services from its 30 offices across the UK and Crown Dependencies (Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man).
Following investment from Arete and Svella in 2021, Leonard Curtis has expanded organically through new hires, increasing its average deal size and specialisms in various sectors (including financial services and legal). It has successfully supplemented this through the acquisition of businesses in the South Coast and Sheffield areas as well as more recently, Newsource Commercial Finance and VirtualNonExecs.
Pollen Streets investment aims to accelerate growth through product expansion, technology and M&A.
BDO completed financial and tax vendor due diligence services with respect to this Transaction as well as financial due diligence with respect to the acquisition of VirtualNonExecs.
