AIM Awards Shortlist
Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees – the quality is truly outstanding and is testament to AIM’s status as the most successful growth market in the world. AIM has come a long way since its launch in 1995, when there were just 10 companies worth £82 million. Nearly 4,000 companies have joined AIM in the ensuing 25 years, raising £120 billion and serving as the UK’s economic engine. Crucially, AIM has supported companies through economic cycles, and has a vital role to play today in supporting the UK’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“During these turbulent and testing times, we are proud to continue supporting the success of AIM which is the lifeblood of the UK economy. While COVID-19 has presented unprecedented challenges for us all, it’s heartening to celebrate Britain’s innovative small- and mid-cap businesses which have demonstrated remarkable resilience by adapting swiftly to the changing operating conditions. The role of AIM in providing growth capital to pioneering companies and entrepreneurs creating the jobs of tomorrow is as important now as it’s ever been in the market’s 25 years.”
Scott Knight, Head of Audit and Assurance.
