 • Partner matters – succession planning, our 2018/19 personal tax planning guide and the tax risks for buy-to-let investors

 • Tax update – UK and global tax landscape updates including making tax digital, US tax reform, employment taxes and off-payroll workers

 • Dates for your diary – our upcoming events and webinars.

The Chancellor’s Budget 2018

In addition to the updates covered in our Autumn edition of Practice Matters, the Chancellor has since delivered his Budget 2018 speech on the 31 October. He announced a number of measures and consultations, which included a reform of the off-payroll working rules (also known as IR35) and a delay of its extension to the private sector. If you think your business is affected, you can read more about this here.

We have produced a full analysis of the Budget and how it will impact on individuals and businesses, available on our Budget hub. We have also summarised the key changes for professional services firms to consider, that you can read here.
