NADA 2017 Review

15 February 2017

Following our attendance at the 2017 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Conference held in the USA, I am pleased to share a review of some of the key insights from this year’s event. Although a 100 year celebration, it was a forward looking event, with a whole area dedicated to the ‘modern dealership’, the latest technology, automation, advances in virtual showrooms and big data.

This annual event continues to be the largest dealer convention in the world, this year with over 25,000 people attending from over 53 different countries. Staged around the expo are the seminars and workshops which cover new ideas and best practice in areas such as sales, marketing, social media, operations and strategic business management.

I hope you find our review informative. If you have any questions about any of the issues covered or would like to discuss any points raised further, please contact Malcolm Thixton or Steve Le Bas or speak to your usual BDO adviser.
