NADA 2019 Review
06 February 2019
Following our recent attendance at the 2019 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Conference in the USA, our summary of some of the key insights from this year's event is now available.
The general mood from the US was not as upbeat usual and although sales still increased last year it was evident that they are slowing and margins are now falling. This was reflected in the workshops on offer - operational efficiency, reducing expenses and driving profitability were all key topics.
This annual event continues to be the largest dealer convention in the world, this year with over 25,000 people attending from over 53 different countries – the largest attendee number in convention history. Staged around the expo are the seminars and workshops which cover new ideas and best practice in areas such as aftersales, marketing, digital sales, human resources and strategic business management.
