BDO names Ian McBane as new Head of Technology and Media

Ian, who is currently the lead Business Services and Outsourcing Partner in London, has been an active member of BDO’s Technology & Media Leadership Team since joining the firm in 2019. He has extensive experience dealing with ambitious, high growth scale-ups, mid-market PE backed businesses and international tech companies, and also works with a number of US-owned tech clients and listed group affiliates.

Ian takes the reins from Tony Spillett who has led the Technology and Media sector group since 2016 during which time the firm’s turnover in the sector has more than doubled to over £100m a year.

Commenting on his appointment, Ian McBane said:
