Chris Meyrick

I'm the Head of Audit for Scotland and lead the financial services team in the region, with over 25 years of industry experience including two years in Canada.

I am responsible for the delivery of audits across the region; my background is in supporting financial services business and in particular those in the investment management sector. I work with businesses on both the corporate and product sides, ranging from large global investment groups and open-ended fund managers to boutique specialist wealth and alternative managers including private equity, infrastructure, renewable energy, and real estate. I've also supported the investment trust and venture capital trust sector extensively and have considerable experience with listed and regulated entities.

I work with key industry bodies, contribute to guidance and publications, speak at events and sit on the ICAEW Board for Scotland, currently as Deputy Chair. I enjoy supporting businesses as you navigate the increasingly complex regulatory environment and develop and launch new products.
