I specialise in buy-side and sell-side commercial due diligence ('CDD'), vendor assist as well as growth strategy development and focus on Industrial Products, Technology & Services - a very broad sector encompassing a variety of business models.
My client base is also broad and consists primarily of private equity funds and/or their portfolio companies as well as other corporates in the mid-market.
What I do for my clients depends on the circumstance:
Deal environment: I have worked on a wide range of deal sizes (companies ranging from pre-revenue to multiple £100m's EBITDA) in the UK, Europe and US and help investors understand the investment opportunity from a market and customer perspective. This means helping them understand what market the business operates in, what drives it and how fast the market is growing, what changes and risks are coming down the line, what the business' customers think about it, how well it is positioned and how defensible this positioning is - and ultimately what all this means for the achievability of the business' revenue projections, incl. any additional opportunities.
Strategic environment: I help my clients answer specific strategic questions around growth, including market entry strategies, channel strategy and customer strategy.
Before joining BDO, I spent 15 years at PwC (now called Strategy&) and the last seven years at EY-Parthenon, where I equally focussed on the Industrial Products, Technology & Services space.
When I am not at work, I try to spend as much time with my daughters and my wife as well as with our cockapoo. In between all of this I am attempting to make space for running, meditation, cooking and seeing friends.
