Daniel Turner

I am a highly recognised and well-regarded accounting expert witness both in the UK and overseas, with over 23 years of experience, the last 18 of those specialising in the provision of forensic accounting in commercial disputes and financial investigations. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Charted Accountants.

I work with both clients and legal professionals, across a range of sectors, including construction and infrastructure, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, sports and entertainment and oil & gas and energy. I am regularly appointed as an expert in the field of forensic accounting, providing expert input to assessment of damages and loss of profits for matters including breaches of contract, shareholder and joint venture disputes, transactional disputes, post-M&A earn out disputes and professional negligence.

I am listed in the Who’s Who Legal 2024 Expert Witness category for Commercial Litigation and the Lexology 2025 Index for Expert Forensic Accountants.

Over the past 18 years, I have prepared expert reports under many court and arbitral proceedings and have given oral evidence in the English High Court, the DIFC Courts and in International Arbitration proceedings.

Outside of work I like to spend time with my family, supporting my two young daughters across a mix of sports and exploring the outdoors.
