Diane Elliott

Diane is a Principal in the Valuations Team at BDO LLP. She specialises in tax, matrimonial, commercial, and expert witness valuations for UK and international clients.

Diane leads BDO’s tax and family law valuation practices and has extensive expertise across a broad range of fiscal, commercial and expert witness valuations. Her work includes reports for matrimonial purposes, shareholder disputes, business restructuring and refinancing as well as valuations for personal and corporate tax planning purposes. She has particular expertise in the financial services, crypto asset, technology retail and media sectors, including the valuation of music, literary and film catalogues for a variety of purposes.

She is a Fellow of the ICAEW, and a member of RICS and Resolution.

Diane regularly lectures on valuation issues to professional and industry bodies and is a co-author of several editions of the leading share valuation text, Practical Share Valuation.
