Georgie Gaunt

I am a Director in the Financial Services Audit team, specialising in the audit of asset managers and funds. I work with a broad range of organisations, from FTSE 250 investment trusts to private equity and venture capital funds, helping them meet their audit, reporting and regulatory requirements with confidence. I focus on building strong relationships and providing practical, high-quality advice that supports clients as they grow and evolve.

Over the past 13 years, I have built extensive experience working with funds, asset managers, custodians and administrators across the Financial Services sector. I work closely with alternative investment managers and private equity firms, many of which are FCA regulated, supporting them with statutory audits and CASS reporting requirements. I have particular expertise in infrastructure and renewable energy funds, while also working with funds investing across a wide range of asset classes. My experience spans UK GAAP, IFRS and FCA regulatory requirements.

Alongside my client work, I am the People Leader for the Asset Management audit team. Developing people is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role, and I am passionate about helping individuals build their careers, develop their skills and achieve their potential. Whether supporting a fund through complex reporting requirements or helping an asset manager navigate regulatory expectations, I focus on delivering a collaborative and trusted service.

Outside work, I spend much of my time with my two young children, who keep me busy. I am also a keen foodie and enjoy cooking with my husband and hosting family and friends.
