Gordon Carstairs

I'm a Deal Advisory Partner specialising in M&A advisory to mid-market businesses and private equity. I joined the firm Edinburgh office in 2016 before transferring to the London TMT M&A team in 2018.

I specialise in the TMT sector, with particular experience working with businesses across digital transformation, enterprise software and the ICT channel. I typically work with owner-managed and private equity-backed businesses, acting as sell-side adviser on transactions in the mid-market and lower mid-market.

I also specialise in working with UK private equity, covering the full spectrum: selling businesses into PE, selling PE portfolio businesses, selling into PE-backed businesses and advising PE on the buy-side of platform investments. I'm a qualified Chartered Accountant with ICAS.
