Our special situations M&A team have experience of acting for both buyers and sellers of businesses in stress/distress scenarios. With deep and extensive knowledge of and relationships with the international special situations investor community, we will provide you and your stakeholders with optimal funding solutions.

We act in both standalone and IP-in-waiting sales processes as well as offering debt advisory services with an emphasis on smaller deals and ABLs. We work directly with clients as well as taking referrals from colleagues and others working in M&A and business restructuring such as IP firms, banks and private equity houses and funds.

Our PLC team advises public and private companies on corporate transactions within a capital markets context. This includes acquisition and disposal mandates for public companies, advising on all aspects of take-overs of public companies, public to private transactions and much more besides.

The team members are drawn from advisory and stockbroking backgrounds and have experience of dealing with investors and fund managers as well as boards of public companies. The team has acted for a broad range of main market companies, AIM companies, unlisted Plcs and overseas companies.

It has advised on many successful transactions with commercial companies and has considerable experience of advising on transactions involving investment companies, including closed-ended investment funds and venture capital trusts.
