I'm a dedicated valuations specialist with over two decades of experience. I lead the valuation team in the North of England, covering companies, shares, share options, intangible assets, intellectual property and loan notes for diverse purposes across a wide variety of sectors and geographies.

I spent five years as a tax adviser before moving into valuations. That grounding is particularly valuable for tax valuation work and dealing with HMRC Shares and Assets Valuations team. I undertake many employee incentive-related valuations, including growth shares and sweet equity, as well as capital gains tax and inheritance tax valuations.

I'm highly experienced in valuations for financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP, helping clients navigate purchase price allocations, share-based payment accounting and impairment reviews. I also advise on commercial valuations for mergers, earn-outs, share buy-backs, Companies Act valuations and restructuring purposes. I'm a Fellow of the ICAEW.
