Ian Oliver

I lead our UK Life Sciences team and work as an audit partner helping businesses across the sector with their growth ambitions, from start-up through to IPO or exit.

My degrees in chemistry and genetic engineering give me a genuine understanding of what life sciences businesses are trying to achieve. I speak their language and bring that scientific grounding to every engagement, whether it involves UK GAAP, IFRS or US financial reporting. I work with public companies, private equity and venture capital backed businesses and private organisations across biotechnology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

Delivering a high-quality audit is central to everything I do. I coordinate our specialist services to make sure clients get the right support at the right stage of their journey, whether that's preparing for an IPO, navigating a funding round or managing ongoing assurance needs.
