I'm Head of the Audit Quality Department (AQD), where I lead our focus on continually improving audit quality and helping audit teams deliver high-quality audits in an increasingly complex environment. With more than 22 years' experience in audit and accounting, I work closely with Partners and audit teams to provide practical guidance, methodology and tools that support strong, consistent audit delivery.

Since joining the firm in 2009, I've supported audit teams working across a wide range of sectors. My role centres on ensuring our approach evolves alongside the changing needs of audit teams, the profession and the organisations we work with. I focus on turning technical standards and regulatory requirements into practical solutions that teams can apply with confidence.

A key part of my role is developing and implementing audit methodology, auditor reporting guidance, policies and procedures. Whether helping teams navigate changes in regulation or refining audit approaches, I aim to make complex requirements clear, practical and relevant. A typical engagement involves working with audit leadership and engagement teams to strengthen audit quality while ensuring their approach remains proportionate, effective and focused on delivering value.

I believe the best audit quality framework combines technical excellence with practical application. I enjoy collaborating with colleagues to develop approaches that help teams respond to new challenges while maintaining high standards and delivering confidence to stakeholders.
