Sarah Anderson

I am a Partner in BDO's Audit and Assurance practice. I am part of the Not for Profit team with over 20 years of experience specialising in Charities. Whilst based in the North, I work with organisations across the country to provide high quality external audit services. I spent several years as a member of the Charity Commission’s SORP Committee and have extensive knowledge of reporting under UK GAAP and the Charities SORP. I am an experienced trustee on the board of the Intensive Care Society, with a good understanding of the Charity Governance Code. In my spare time I am a volunteer with Pets As Therapy, visiting hospitals with my therapy dog and overseeing other volunteers.

I’m passionate about the outdoors and enjoy hiking, watching and photographing wildlife, catching up with friends, and spending time at the coast.
