Sarah Hillary

I'm a Partner within the Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team, advising organisations on governance, risk and internal control. The key sectors I work in are charities, central government and large corporates. I lead our not-for-profit work in RAS and work with a number of Top 100 charities leading their internal audit service.

I work with Boards, audit and risk committees and senior leaders to strengthen decision making, enhance oversight and build governance frameworks that are practical, sustainable and aligned to organisational purpose. My work frequently includes advising on board effectiveness, board roles and structures, conflict management and diversity of thought.

Within BDO, I am a member of the Oversight Board at BDO and also partner sponsor for our work on inclusion and belonging.
