Stephen Cooney

I'm a Principal in our Value Creation Services team with over 25 years' experience advising management teams and private equity houses on the operational issues associated with acquisitions, divestments and distressed businesses.

My expertise covers identifying and implementing transformation programmes to improve EBITDA, delivering business integrations and carve-outs and undertaking operational and technical due diligence. I define future state target operating models, deliver multi-site operational restructuring and support the implementation of strategic initiatives for growing businesses. My experience spans a wide range of sectors and international locations.

Before joining the firm, I worked in EY's Transaction Advisory Services team and gained management and consulting experience at Ford Motor Company's European Business Strategy team, PA Consulting Group and Federal Mogul. I hold an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and I'm a Chartered Engineer.
