Cloud services company Brightsolid Online Technology Limited has acquired Gateshead-based IT solutions provider, Synergi Software Limited
Established over 25 years ago, Brightsolid, which is part of the DC Thomson Group, specialises in cloud, colocation, cyber resilience and business continuity, with customers including Aberdeenshire Council, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Dundee City Council, Shell, University of Dundee and West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
Founded in 2013 and having grown since to a team of 59, Synergi works in a wide range of sectors providing solutions including automation, modern intranet and teamwork solutions, cyber security, data & AI, business applications and devices. Clients including Princes, NHS Highland, Arriva, Lothian Buses and Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.
BDO provided financial and tax due diligence, and SPA support services.
