BDO has provided financial, taxation and SPA services on the acquisition of The Gate Films by Tag.
The Gate Films, which has its headquarters in Manchester, was founded in the city in 1997. Its team is led by chief executive Simon Lewis and joint heads of production Rhiannon Lewis and James Shannon.
The deal will enhance Tag's production services, including premium hero and content film production, virtual studio production, animation and the provision of access to a roster of A-list directors.
