Admission of Gemfields on AIM

BDO was reporting accountant for the Admission of Gemfields on AIM. 

Gemfields is an emerald and ruby mining company and has led the standardisation of gem grade quality in the market and delivery of consistent supplies from its Kagem emerald mine in Zambia and Montepuez ruby mine in Mozambique.  It supplies rough gemstones direct to market through private auctions, and strategically acquired Faberge in 2013 to bolster the group’s position within the coloured gemstone market. Gemfields has relisted on AIM (continuing its existing JSE listing) to improve market liquidity and widen the investor base.
