Acquisition of Hamberley Developments (Hailsham) Ltd by Aedifica UK Ltd

Listed on Euronext in Brussels and Amsterdam, Aedifica is a Belgian incorporated group which specialises in investing in European healthcare real estate.  It has developed a portfolio of more than 450 sites in Belgium, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom worth approximately €3.4 billion.

On 24 September 2020, Aedifica UK Ltd exchanged on the forward acquisition of a new care home being built in Hailsham, East Sussex.  The home is expected to be completed in Spring 2021 and consideration for the acquisition will be approximately £14.5 million.  BDO provided financial and tax due diligence on the acquisition, which is the third such transaction BDO has advised Aedifica on in the last three months.
