BDO provided investor vendor due diligence services to Cinesite in respect of the external investment and refinancing amounting to $112m.
Cinesite has secured minority equity investment from Gryphion Capital and finance facilities from Barclays and Natwest including up to $52m for general funding and revolving credit facilities plus a further $20m in future flexible funding for acquisition or expansion.
Head quartered in London, Cinesite operates in Berlin, Montreal, Munich and Vancouver providing feature animation and visual effects services to major studios and film-makers, including recently The Addams Family, Rocketman, Avengers Endgame, Captain Marvel and Spiderman: Far From Home.
The business has grown ten-fold since 2014 through expanding its talent base, building presence in key locations and strategically acquiring businesses that enhance the Group's capabilities in its core operations.
