Christian Bower-Sloane

I joined BDO in July 2024 after 17 years at KPMG, where I worked across a wide range of audits. My experience includes FTSE 250 and AIM-listed PLCs, large and complex privately held groups, and dynamic private equity-backed businesses, principally in the technology and infrastructure sectors. I am well versed in IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP, including SOx.

My focus at BDO is on the technology, media and telecommunications sector in London. I support listed and dynamic groups by bringing extensive experience of working on commercially and technically complex accounting and audit matters, including acquisitions, financial instruments, disposals, revenue recognition, impairment and going concern.

I have worked with both local and global businesses throughout my career, including roles in Manchester, Liverpool and London, as well as two years in New Zealand. Alongside my client work, I have also held key internal leadership roles, including leading the operations of an audit department of around 200 people and serving as the national change delivery lead for a major ERP and IT implementation.

I pride myself on my Partner-led approach, building long term sustainable relationships and working with my clients transparently, collaboratively and responsively.
