Rosie Barnes

I'm a Partner in the Forensic Accounting team, focusing on commercial disputes with a particular specialism in breach of contract, loss of profits and M&A disputes. My work includes expert witness appointments in litigation or arbitration and appointments as an expert determiner. I have significant experience of post-transaction disputes including breach of warranty claims, completion accounts, earn-out disputes and advising on W&I insurance claims.

I have wide-ranging experience as an expert witness and have given oral testimony on many occasions. The cases I work on often involve complex accounting issues, including valuation of losses through to the interpretation of specific accounting warranties in Share Purchase Agreements.

I work with a broad spectrum of clients, from small owner-managed businesses to large conglomerates, many of which operate across different jurisdictions. I often work with our member firms in different countries and regularly deal with legal teams and industry experts.
