Steve Newberry

I work in Technology Risk Assurance supporting the Audit Practice as a Technology Specialist Lead. I have a national role with a southern regional focus, delivering high-quality IT controls audits across the firmwide portfolio. Based in the Reading office, I support the TV&W region, Southampton and London Audit Group.

With 25 years of technology risk and financial audit experience, including 20 years at PwC, I've led and delivered external audit, third-party assurance and data analytics engagements. I work with a broad spectrum of audit entities from owner-managed businesses to large AQR corporates and US SOX referrals.

I lead the TRA sector focus around charities, higher education and NHS audits. I also created the TRA Quality team and developed a brand identity synonymous with thought leadership and innovation.
