BDO supported British Land with financial and tax due diligence along with SPA advisory services on the acquisition of a portfolio of nine retail parks from Brookfield Corporation across two transactions and a further retail park from Clearbell Partners.
British Land continued its strategic focus on retail parks with these investments, building upon its market leading position and redeploying the c£360m of funds raised from the disposal of Meadowhall shopping centre and the Group's c£300m equity placing.
