Shaheda is a corporate international tax director, based in our London office. Shaheda specialises in advising on a range of tax issues to private equity funds and private equity backed companies with an international footprint.
These issues include: structuring in relation to acquisitions, disposals (including IPOs) and refinancing. She also assists private equity backed companies navigate the complexity that being owned by a PE/VC fund gives an investee company’s ongoing tax position. With her international tax expertise, Shaheda also assists businesses manage the tax aspects of their evolving cross border structures and operating models, as they grow, transform or sell their overseas operations.
Shaheda works with UK mid-market private equity houses and their portfolio groups, with specific experience of US PE funds investing into the UK.
