Which companies are setting the pace in the industry this year?

Tech Track 100

BDO demonstrates its commitment to supporting high growth technology companies by proudly sponsoring The Sunday Times Tech Track 100. BDO has been sponsor for eight of the last ten years. The Tech Track 100 ranks private technology, media and telecoms companies based on their growth in sales over the last three years of available data.

We work with a broad range of technology and media businesses to maximise their fast growth activity, nurture opportunities and avoid barriers to growth. Our specialists have the knowledge and expertise to deal with the ever-evolving challenges this sector faces.

Tech Track 2017

On Sunday 11 September 2017, Fast Track published this year’s Tech Track league table, with over 115 companies being recognised; the top 100 who made the league table and 15 ‘Ones to Watch’. The average sales growth for the top 100 companies was a combined total of £2.9bn, with 80% having generated revenue overseas.

Inspiring the next tech generation

At BDO we are all committed to contributing to a responsible business, including how we give back to the wider community and the world around us. To join in celebrating the success of the soon to be announced Tech Track 100 winners for 2017, we saw this as a great opportunity for us to give back together.

What are we doing?

During September we will be fundraising for The Princes Trust STEM programme, which aims to equip young people with the STEM skills needed for employment. Our ambition is to contribute to bridging the skills gap we face in the UK and to help future tech start-ups succeed.

How are we doing it?

  1. When we congratulate each of the 2017 Tech Track 100 businesses, we will be asking each of them to give a little something back, by sharing their key piece of advice that they would give to young aspiring tech entrepreneurs. For each company that takes part, BDO will pledge a £50 donation. We will also share all of the combined wisdom from the leading tech companies with The Princes Trust.

  2. We are running several activities internally to raise money, including a cake sale and cycling 100km on an exercise bike.
